The annual amount is payable in quarterly installments.
The penalty in case of cancellation will be the sum of $200.00.
3. Eligibility for Transportation
General Principle – Eligibility for school transportation is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. A student requesting round-trip transportation will have priority over a student requesting only one way.
Eligibility Distance – Students are eligible for school transportation as long as the public roads leading to their residence do not present any access difficulties or conditions that would jeopardize the students’ safety.
The distances in question are the shortest route on public roads between the student’s home and the school.
Particular organizational, road, or economic circumstances may mean it is not possible to arrange school transportation for some students.
A person’s residence is the place where they usually live. In case of multiple residences, for domicile determination, the principal one is considered.
Maximum Number of Eligible Students – The maximum number of eligible students in a sedan is six. Only an elementary student may occupy the front seat.
4. Accommodations
Some students may benefit from accommodations according to the following rules:
That there are available seats in vehicles already designated for eligible students under the above eligibility rules.
That no changes to the route are made.
That the additional time required for the boarding and disembarking of these students does not affect the punctuality of the buses at the destination schools.
Under no circumstances does the accommodation grant the right to free supervision. Parents must pay for child care services if they wish to leave their child in the service while waiting for a second driver pass.
5. Location and Time of Boarding and Disembarking
At the place of residence:
Students are picked up and dropped off at their home along the vehicle's route.
Parents are responsible for bringing and picking up their child at the transport vehicle at the time of boarding and disembarking. Children must be ready to board the vehicle at the time set by the school.
At the school
Children from another school
The company may agree to transport children to another school if there are still available seats in the vehicle and/or if the schedules match.
If seats become needed for eligible students of the School, availability for these students will be created by removing the privilege from students of other schools.
An agreement will be signed between the parents and the school, releasing the latter from any responsibility for the boarding and disembarking of students.
